Start your morning off right with warm breakfast sandwiches at Lapu Lapu and energizing coffee at Gwenie's, the National Landing Filipino favorite.

Met Park Children's Playground

Experiencing a sugar rush? Bring your family to the Met Park Children's Playground for some fun in the sun. The Earthscape playground was created to be a natural play oasis that allows children to be immersed in the environment and to stimulate development.

Community Banana Stand

Refuel with a free banana from the Community Banana Stand, sponsored by Amazon. This is one of two Community Banana Stands in National Landing, open daily from 8AM-3:30PM for any passersby looking for quick fuel.

Queen City

Explore the many outdoor art installations that Met Park has to offer, like the Queen City Memorial. This art installation by Nekisha Durrett pays homage to Queen City, a predominantly Black historic neighborhood that was located in part of what is now National Landing. This community, including 900+ residents, was forcibly displaced by the federal government in 1941 for construction of the Pentagon.

Toby's Homemade Ice Cream

End your day with a sweet treat from Toby's Ice Cream. Voted Arlington's Best Ice Cream by Arlington Magazine, Toby's features a range of flavors, from classics like chocolate and vanilla to unique ones like Ube and Philippine Mango.
