National Landing is one of the most connected and accessible districts in the Washington region. National Landing is served by two Metrorail lines across four Metro stations, Arlington’s only Virginia Railway Express (VRE) station with service on two commuter rail lines, and 13 bus routes operated by four transit agencies. Representing 21% of Arlington’s bikeshare network, National Landing offers 24 Capital Bikeshare stations generating more than 190,000 trips in 2025. Residents, workers, and visitors benefit from an extensive network of trails, protected bike facilities, and highly walkable streets, making it incredibly easy to access on foot. National Landing also offers unparalleled airport access through Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, offering over 400 daily departures and serving an average of 103 destinations each year.
